D.A.R.E. Youth Advisory Board - Colorado Representative

I have very strong morals and values, especially about young teens and the use of drugs and/or alcohol.  With my involvement I hope to get kids to have the same beliefs as I do and to take the same pledge we took in 5th grade “to be drug free”.

Well, here is a little bit about me:  I am sophomore in high school and participate in many activities and sports. My favorite sport is softball, but I also play tennis. Although I don’t competitively participate in wrestling, it is one of my favorite sports. I am one of several manager’s for the high school team and love to watch.

I am a strong Christian and participate regularly in Young Life.  Outgoing? Yes, always busy doing something either with friends or my family. My interests include Marine Biology, especially whales and dolphins; cake decorating, candle making, friendship bracelets, special education, and helping the fire department fundraise for needy families at Christmas time.

Reaching into the future I see myself attending college for either Marine Biology or Special Education, and attending either University of Colorado at Denver and transferring to Hawaii, or attending University of Texas.

I look forward to working with everyone through D.A.R.E America, the D.A.R.E. Officers of Colorado and the D.A.R.E. America Youth Advisory Board to bring new ideas and continued education about drugs, alcohol and the pledge to say “No”.
